Blair is still a commie
...but not in the US

Tony Blair gives his final speech to the Labour Party. But he must have wagged his finger to much and been so angry that FOX News lost track, because they only seem to focus on the few minutes dedicated to the part of fighting terrorism and standing by the US.

"Blair Insists Labour Party Can Win Fourth Term" FOX News

MANCHESTER, England —  Tony Blair gave his last address to his Labour Party as prime minister on Tuesday, saying it is important to stay close to Washington in the fight against terrorism even though it can be hard to be the United States' strongest ally.

Maybe they should read the transcript with the commie-talk about Africa and traditional Labour social issues. Blair sure kissed a lot of US-ass to get the cash for Africa, it's a big part of his legacy, and he should get more attention and praise for that rather than the lapdog part.

UPDATE: Right now Tony Blair's best buddy, Bill Clinton, is speaking.

The Republicans Sure Love Golf

The Ryder Cup is over, with another Eurotrash win. You Yanks sure seems to suck at sport these days. But it appears that the rivalry is not just on the green but also off it, as the European players seem a bit uncomfortable with the extreme views of some of the US players.

“You mean that draft-dodging baby-killer?"
- Tom Lehman about Bill Clinton

What a charming fella.

"A lot of their conservative views [on tour] are way off the map . . . I think George Bush is a bit dangerous. I think the world is scared while he's in office, [but] there's less tolerance of diversity [in opinions] over here [and] people have more blind faith in their government."
- Aussie Geoff Ogilvy

"That's the new way of American censorship," and "People get hurt very badly if they speak out."
- Swede Jesper Parnevik on European players not daring to speak out in the locker room in fear of being crucified (no pun intended) in the US media.

Maybe it's time we started routing for Annika.

Jebus Camp on Bill Maher

The fact that the Muslim explain his god so much better than the Christian makes us wonder if we weren't born into the wrong church.
It could also have something to do with that he's a Middle-East analyst for CBS News and she is a "contributor" to FOX News.

Finally!!!

Bill goes on FOX News and reminds us of who actually tried to kill bin Laden and who didn't

FOX News invites Bill Clinton to talk about the issues he's involved with now (AIDS, poverty). Chris Wallace ambushes him by burping talking points, but Bill smacks back.

"Clinton Takes On Fox News" ThinkProgress

Bill goes after his critics, with their own criticism of him. Oh, how quickly we forget.

...All of President Bush’s neocons claimed that I was too obsessed with finding Bin Laden when they didn’t have a single meeting about Bin Laden for the nine months after I left office. All the right wingers who now say that I didn’t do enough said that I did too much. Same people.

...What did I do? I worked hard to try and kill him. I authorized a finding for the CIA to kill him. We contracted with people to kill him. I got closer to killing him than anybody has gotten since. And if I were still president we’d have more than 20,000 troops there trying to kill him. Now I never criticized President Bush and I don’t think this is useful. But you know we do have a government that thinks Afghanistan is 1/7 as important as Iraq.

We feel really bad for the editors at FOX News, having to work all night to remove the harmful stuff.

UPDATE: FOX News are now trying to sell the idea that "Clinton went crazy" with Chris Wallace going on other FOX shows to set up that narrative.
They did however change the video caption on their website.

Fool some, screw all

"Dr" Frank Luntz likes to make money on fooling people. This one is however very impressive. He got the no-science Bushies to adopt "technology" as the sollution to the problems we face on the environment.

"White House Fools the Media Again with Warmed-Over Do-Nothing Climate Plan"
ClimateProgress

The answer is that technology has sex appeal, and it is actually part of the answer. And that is precisely why conservative strategist Frank Luntz recommended making technology the cornerstone of the climate strategy for conservatives who want to appear as if they care about global warming but don’t actually want to do anything about it. This strategy is so good that Bush can get favorable PR for his plan even though he is cutting funding the most cost-effective technology strategy–energy efficiency.

"Diddy ain’t giddy about Bush"
Washington Examiner

“It’s just embarassing the kind of ignorance in my man,” said Diddy, who now refers to the commander-in-chief on a posse-level basis.
“It’s like my man has no marbles up there ... My man is just running up there crazy and the things he’s doing are crazy ... Ain’t nobody feelin’ that war.”
Yeas & Nays asked Diddy if events since 2004 have made him want to update the “Vote or Die!” slogan he made famous during the last presidential campaign.
“Nope, it’s still “Vote or Die!,’’ said Diddy. “People didn’t vote and people died."

The Yellow-Pink Revolution

This note was found stuck to an "election cabin" set up by the Swedish Christian Democratic Party ahead of sundays election.

It reads...

Hello Christian Democrat

We have pissed on your porch. You might think that's bad behavior or even "mischief" (our translation). But if you think about the fact that you don't want people like us to be able to get married or have kids it's only fair we get to take a piss on your non-humane values.

Alan Colmes likes to wear his blue shirt. But only on the radio, cause Sean doesn't allow it on TV

After being wrong about the fall of Air America (while making fun of the radio station together), Alan Colmes and Bill O'Reilly put their radio ratings together and still lost out to Al Franken.
